New 2011 Yamaha R15

Yamaha is all set to launch the latest version of their most popular bike Yamaha R15. This new 2011 Yamaha R15 with a dimension of 1995 x 670 x 1070 mm as it's length x width x height respectively has resemblance to Yamaha own's sporty bike Yamaha R6. This new 2011 Yamaha R15 will get launched in the Indian market by March 2011.

New 2011 Yamaha R15 features a 149.8cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Petrol engine which will provide a maximum power of around 17 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of around 15 Nm @ 7500 rpm. This new 2011 Yamaha R15 is expected to give around 32 kmpl in the cities and around 43 kmpl in the highways. 2011 Yamaha R15 with a 6-speed manual transmission is said to have a top-speed of about 135 kmh.

New 2011 Yamaha R15 have a Telescopic suspension at the front and a Linked type Monocross suspension at the rear. It also features 240mm Double Disc brake at the front and a Hydraulic, single disc at the rear. This new 2011 Yamaha R15 will be available in the following colors : Blue, Graphite, Yellow and Red.

This new sporty bike, 2011 Yamaha R15 is expected to be priced around Rs 1.10 lakhs (on-road price).

2011 Yamaha FZ1 Fazer superbike in India

Yamaha is planning to launch a new sports bike in the superbike section for the Indian two wheeler market, Yamaha FZ1 Fazer. This new sports superbike from Yamaha, FZ1 Fazer will be available in India with the same R1-based engine and aluminium chassis. This new Yamaha FZ1 Fazer is expected to reach the Indian market by the end of this year.

Yamaha FZ1 Fazer features a 998cc 4-stroke, Forward-inclined parallel 4-cylinder, DOHC Petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 148 Bhp @ 11000 rpm and a maximum torque of about 106 Nm @ 8000 rpm. This new Yamaha superbike, with a 6-speed manual transmission also features an Aluminium die-cast, diamond shaped chassis in it.

This new Yamaha FZ1 Fazer comes with a Wet, multiple-disc coil spring clutch and it also features Telescopic forks suspensions at the front and Swingarm (link suspension) suspesions at the rear. This new superbike also provides Dual discs, 320 mm brakes at the front and Single disc, 245 mm brake at the rear.

This new sports superbike, Yamaha FZ1 Fazer will be available mainly in 2 colors : Midnight Black and Lava Red. It is also expected to get priced around Rs 10,50,000/- (ex-showroom Mumbai).
